August Briggs Wine Tasting Notes

Small tasting room in a big farmhouse/warehouse. The staff is very nice, but the overall effect of the room is sterile. A double glass door in the tasting room lets you peak into the barrel room, where you can catch glimpse of the winegrowers or the owners wandering around. While Bob and Betty Briggs may be in retirement, you may catch their son Joe there, instead, who'll be happy to give you a quick tour.

We did a quick tasting, which was free, but were not excited about anything we tasted. The cheapest bottle, we should mention, is about $35.
